1:1 Coaching · Twelve Weeks

Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.

Masculinity isn't an aesthetic; it is a deep commitment to understanding your moral duties and to surrendering to them completely. I will help you do both.

The problem

Most men are taught how to make a living. Few are taught how to live well.

Most men are given plenty of advice about what to do with their lives, but very little guidance about who they should be. They're taught how to earn a living, solve problems, pursue goals, and navigate the demands of everyday life. Yet many carry a sense that something important is missing. They want to be more disciplined than they are. More courageous. More dependable. More patient. More honest. They want to live according to clear principles instead of moods, impulses, and circumstances.

The problem is that good character does not develop by accident. It requires attention, practice, and a willingness to examine oneself honestly. For more than two thousand years, philosophers have argued that the highest aim of a human life is not wealth, status, or pleasure, but excellence of character. My work helps men pursue that aim. Together, we identify virtues worth cultivating, habits that undermine them, and responsibilities that give life meaning.

What Good Men is

A twelve week, one-to-one coaching programme rooted in the ancient wisdom of Stoicism.

We'll meet weekly, just the two of us. Over twelve weeks, you'll develop a clearer understanding of what it means to live well, cultivate the virtues that make a good man, and build a practical framework for applying those virtues in everyday life.

  1. 01

Understand what a good life requires

The Stoics argued that a good life is not measured by wealth, status, comfort, or achievement, but by the quality of one's character. We'll explore the foundations of virtue ethics and develop a clear understanding of wisdom, courage, justice, and temperance—not as abstract ideals, but as practical standards for living.

  2. 02

Examine the man you are becoming

Most people spend more time evaluating their circumstances than evaluating their character. Together, we'll identify the habits, beliefs, strengths, weaknesses, and patterns that are shaping your life. This process is not about judgment. It is about honest self-examination and developing a clear picture of where growth is needed.

  3. 03

    Practice living with virtue

Understanding virtue is not enough. Character is formed through action. We'll translate philosophical principles into daily practice, helping you make better decisions, fulfil your responsibilities more effectively, and develop the consistency required to live according to your values, even when doing so is difficult.

You'll finish with a clear understanding of what a good life requires and a practical framework for living it.
